The Master's Apprentice is a faith-based social enterprise created to connect industries in need of qualified apprentices and young men searching for a sustainable career. The Master's Apprentice provides a bridge over the opportunity divide between these young men and the growing need for apprentices in the skilled trades. The program recruits young men 18-28 years old from low income communities to participate in a 8 week intensive course that includes work ethic, construction math, financial literacy, career counseling and basic workshop skills. They are paid a stipend while attending the program and graduate with up to a $200 scholarship for the books and tools needed to enter formal trade apprentice programs. They will graduate with a complete personal portfolio including resumes, documents, and certificates needed to qualify with their future employer. Our focus is to serve as a "pre-apprentice" bridge into the six specific trades of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, welding, carpentry, and masonry. Learn more about us.

"Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business and to work with your hands, just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody."
