We are The Master’s Apprentice

The Master’s Apprentice is a faith-based nonprofit offering a pre-apprenticeship program designed to help motivated individuals from low-income backgrounds start rewarding careers in trades such as Carpentry, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Pipefitting, Renewable Energy and more. We are dedicated to helping you begin a career in the construction trades.

We provide the opportunity. You provide the determination. The industry provides the careers. It’s a win-win-win.

The Master’s Apprentice is a free, 6-week, full-time training program that prepares you with:

  • Exposure to a variety of high-paying construction trades so you can decide which field to pursue

  • Professional resume writing assistance and certifications to turn rejected applications into accepted interviews
  • Insider connections to help you get your foot in the door

The Master’s Apprentice offers a tuition-free program thanks to the dedication of our volunteer instructional coaches and the support of our corporate partners, who share our mission of preparing individuals for careers in the trades. With the help of donations and grants, we are able to provide this program at no cost to students. The Master’s Apprentice mission is to provide young adults a bridge to the skilled trades through basic training, on-the-job experience and the creation of a career path that will enable transition to financial stability.
