Coach Richie has volunteered as a Work Ethics and Career Development Coach since January 2020. He is a self-described “Air Force “Brat” having moved throughout the country as a child before finally settling in Colorado as a teen. He graduated from Hinkley High School in Aurora, earned a bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Colorado, and a master’s degree in Educational Supervision and Administration from the University of Phoenix.

His career consisted of being a teacher, a Human Resources Director, and a principal at several schools, in the Cherry Creek School District. Upon his retirement in 2014, he consulted with Human Resources in the Denver Public School District screening, interviewing, and hiring teachers and administrators.

Coach Richie views his role as a coach who teaches our students the qualities and characteristics that employers look for when screening, interviewing, and selecting, quality employees who are most likely to grow, and are a good long-term investment for the future of their company and to add to their existing workforce.

Richie is the father of a 28-year-old son who is a 2012 graduate of the Cherry Creek Schools, a 2014 graduate of Lincoln Tech., and is currently a successful Automotive Technician in the Denver Metro Area.
