Dedicated to helping others.
Those four words sum up what we value most at The Master’s Apprentice.
about us
Since 2013, our faith-based, nonprofit, pre-apprenticeship program has been improving the lives of young adults from low-income backgrounds.
Throughout our 6-week program, MAP students explore all the major construction trades and receive hands-on training, industry certifications, professional mentoring, and career coaching to get real opportunities with quality companies to start the careers they want.
volunteer coaches
MAP’s key to success are our volunteer coaches who provide instruction for the key knowledge and skills required to begin a career. These Coaches are more than just volunteers — they make a difference in students’ lives by sharing their wisdom and advice, guiding them to success in career and life.
corporate partners
MAP Corporate Partners choose from a large and diverse pool of motivated and committed pre-apprentices, eager and ready to get their careers off the ground.
donors
MAP donors change lives and drive economic mobility for students while impacting development and growth within the community.
Our Mission
The Master’s Apprentice mission is to provide young adults a bridge to the skilled trades through basic training, on-the-job experience and the creation of a career path that will enable transition to financial stability.
Our Guiding Verse
“Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business and to work with your hands, just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody. “ 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12 (NIV)
